Supply chains are complex and dynamic. This past year delivered that message in container-ship-sized portions. To accelerate out of the pandemic and excel in the coming decade, we need better tools and processes than MRP systems developed in the 1960's. In this session, Chad Smith will introduce the demand driven method and how it allows us to sense changing customer demand and adapt planning and production, while pulling from suppliers, in real time.
This session will build on the earlier introduction and with a deep-dive into the Demand Driven Adaptive Enterprise and case studies by two innovative companies using the methods (9Wood and John Zink Hamworthy Combustion).
